Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation services in the Greater Québec City region are divided into three main areas:

  1. Physical rehabilitation - Rehab services of this type are provided by the IRDPQ (Institut de réadaptation en déficience physique de Québec)
  2. Intellectual disabilities and pervasive development disorders - Services in this area are provided by the CRDI (Centre de réadaptation en déficience intellectuelle de Québec)
  3. Drug addictions and other dependencies - Rehab services in this area are provided by the CRUV (Centre de réadaptation Ubald-Villeneuve)

  • Specialized services in motor, visual, auditory and language 
  • Highly specialized services in Eastern Quebec 
  • Expertise center for people with spinal cord injuries 
  • Expertise center for victims of severe burns 
  • Center of expertise in cochlear implant 
  • Centre of Expertise for Chronic Pain 
  • Consortium for cranio-cerebral trauma

  • Intake, assessment, orientation (AEO) 
  • Adaptation and rehabilitation 
  • Adaptation and rehabilitation in the context of residential integration, in the context of workplace integration, in the context of community integration 
  • Specialized educational assistance to families and caregivers
  • Specialized support to partners

Alcoholism, drug addiction, pathological gambling: 

  • Intake, assessment, orientation (AEO) services : youth-adults-entourage
  • External rehabilitation services: youth-adults-entourage

  • Assessment for vehicle drivers program: youth-adults-entourage
